In a story you create, a unicorn can represent an idea you want to explore. For this article, that idea is creativity: a music-note tail gives us a playful starting point.

Creativity, friendship and being yourself
Imagine a unicorn sharing a melody as it travels through a forest. What happens next is up to the storyteller. Perhaps the music starts a conversation, leads to a new friend or inspires another character to make something.
Those events can give the unicorn a meaning within your story. They are make-believe prompts for your own adventure.
Turn the idea into an activity
- Choose a quality, such as kindness or curiosity.
- Draw a unicorn or another character that represents it.
- Write or tell a scene in which the character shows that quality.
- Share your story and listen to someone else’s interpretation.
A symbol works through the meaning you give it. What will yours mean?
